At SSOAR (Supplying Students Opportunities and Resources), our mission is to empower students in the Jackson Metro area by providing them with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or learning challenges, has access to the tools necessary for academic and personal growth.

We provide specialized dyslexia services to help students with learning disabilities unlock their full potential. Through therapy and evidence-based techniques, we assist students in overcoming reading, writing, and language barriers caused by dyslexia. Our goal is to help these students not only improve their literacy skills but also gain the confidence to thrive in school and in life.

In addition to academic support, we also recognize the importance of extracurricular activities in the development of well-rounded students. Many students face financial barriers that prevent them from participating in sports, arts, music, and other enriching activities. Through financial support for extracurricular programs, we ensure that students have the opportunity to engage in these vital activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.

SSOAR is also committed to community engagement and advocacy. We believe in raising awareness about dyslexia and other learning challenges, working with families, educators, and local leaders to foster a supportive environment for all students.
